With lots of van lifers from all walks of life, different countries or cities, each sharing their story around the campfire, it is where we hear of hidden oases to explore ourselves. We are so grateful for these moments and the recommendations, with lots of off-beaten-track gems and some small towns we would have missed otherwise.
I last left you in Tasmania. It was like walking back in time with its unspoiled landscapes, friendly humble eco people and a very chilled vibe.

2020 Volkwagen Kombi Rally
KombiLife will be participating in the 2020 Volkswagen Kombi Rally held at Cronulla Beach on 7 November 2020. Look out for our Copper Bronze Van and our KombiLife flags and come and say hi. Volkswagen are using this opportunity to launch new T6.1. No promises of what vehicles will be there. Over-30 Kombis will form a convoy that will begin at Greenhills Beach and head south before finishing at Dunningham Park at North Cronulla. Entries are now closed to display your Kombi but spectators are welcome. An added bonus is that this is also the 2020 Volkswagen Tradies Surfmasters. You will see some of states best and most senior surfers - including over 100 of NSW’s best shortboarders.
