KUMI and School for Life Foundation Fundraising Items

The KUMI program is an initiative of School for Life Foundation, a non-profit organisation co-founded by local Annabelle Chauncy.  School for Life has built or opened 3 schools in Uganda for over 2,500 children, providing healthcare, food and water and most importantly education.  They empower communities to help themselves and create their own opportunities. This means they provide a hand-up not a hand-out.

They believe in the transformative impact of education and aim to provide a high-quality education to those who need it most, so they can develop themselves and change the communities where they live.  Stopping the cycle of poverty through education.  They build and operate schools that are aligned with the needs of the community.

The KUMI program initiative gives women in Uganda the opportunity to unlock the creative potential within aspiring tailors and empower them with new expertise!  The women make these various KUMI items.
